About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned technology categories and vendor portfolios
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing partner relationships to accelerate solution adoption
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with key vendors and strategic partners
- Lead consultative sales efforts and present strategic proposals to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Conduct market analysis to identify competitive positioning and whitespace opportunities
- Manage forecasting, profitability, and financial solutions to drive year-over-year growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align on growth initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of strategic sales, business development, or account management experience
- Background in the technology or distribution industry
- Proven track record of driving year-over-year profitability and revenue growth
- Strong negotiation expertise and experience closing complex, solution-based deals
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with P&L concepts and forecasting
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Willingness to travel for in-person vendor and partner engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in channel sales, platform-based business models, or category management
- Background in consultative selling within technology solutions
