About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for the Fortinet Platform Security portfolio
- Identify new business opportunities and expand solution adoption within existing partner relationships
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with key vendors and strategic partners
- Lead consultative sales efforts and present strategic proposals to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage forecasting, profitability, and financial solutions to drive year-over-year category growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align on growth initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of strategic sales, business development, or account management experience
- Background in the technology or distribution industry
- Proven expertise in negotiation and closing complex, solution-based deals
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with P&L, forecasting, and margin profiles
- Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Willingness to travel for in-person vendor and partner engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in channel sales, platform-based business models, or category management
- Background in consultative selling
