About the role
Responsibilities
- Prospect and close new business with small and mid-sized merchants
- Sell payment processing, POS, and fintech solutions
- Conduct in-person and outbound sales activity within the assigned territory
- Manage leads, opportunities, and customer data using Salesforce
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas
Requirements
- Must reside within the defined territory
- 1+ years of outside sales or field sales experience
- Ability to maintain a field presence a minimum of 75% of the time
- Experience selling SaaS, POS, payments, merchant services, or fintech solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience selling specifically to small and mid-sized business (SMB) clients
- Deep industry knowledge of merchant services, payment processing, and POS systems
