Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure major opportunities across the Energy & Natural Resources sector globally
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of programme management, project controls, and cost management opportunities
• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with sector growth objectives
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with owners, operators, developers, and investors
• Lead strategic pursuits from early engagement through proposal development and contract award
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations in collaboration with operational and legal teams
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure alignment around pursuit strategy and value propositions

Requirements

• Significant business development experience within Energy & Natural Resources, infrastructure, or professional services
• Demonstrated success in securing major capital programmes or framework agreements
• Deep sector knowledge in Oil & Gas, LNG, Nuclear, Clean Energy, Power, or Mining
• Proven ability to develop and maintain executive-level client relationships
• Experience leading complex pursuits, proposals, and commercial negotiations
• Strong understanding of major capital project delivery and investment lifecycles
• Experience operating in international and multi-stakeholder environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across multiple Energy & Natural Resources sub-sectors
• Existing network within global developers, operators, utilities, or government organisations
• Degree qualified in engineering, commercial, business, or a related discipline
• Professional membership of relevant industry bodies
