Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of representing strategic relationships with major Technology & Telco clients globally
• Cultivate focused accounts by working with Sales, Client Services, Trading, and Custom Solutions teams
• Establish and nurture relationships with commercial and contract leads at major advertising clients
• Align media buying philosophy and technology with client needs to communicate platform value
• Participate in product roadmap discussions with senior leadership, product, and engineering teams
• Lead RFP responses, including qualification and win strategy
• Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs
• Build deep internal connections across various departments and specialty functions

Requirements

• Proven track record in online advertising outbound sales or marketing
• Detailed understanding of the Tech category and proven experience in the space
• Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, or DSP
• Existing relationships with decision makers at major agencies and advertisers
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to lead commercial negotiations for large global accounts
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage C-level clients
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
