Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Drive acquisition of strategic, net new business opportunities with high-value brands
• Own the full sales cycle from initial engagement through contract execution
• Lead consultative discovery processes to translate business challenges into platform solutions
• Build and cultivate executive-level relationships with senior decision-makers
• Develop customized, outcome-based proposals and long-term partnership strategies
• Orchestrate internal stakeholders across sales, product, and legal to close opportunities
• Lead competitive deal strategy and positioning
• Negotiate and close sophisticated commercial agreements like MSAs
• Maintain visibility into pipeline health and forecast accuracy
• Mentor team members on complex deal navigation

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in digital advertising or ad tech sales
• Proven track record in net new business acquisition and strategic deal execution
• Experience closing complex, high-value deals with multiple stakeholders
• Deep experience in programmatic advertising or advertising technology
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders
• Highly sophisticated commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and shape new opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

• DSP (Demand Side Platform) experience is strongly preferred
