Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic partnerships and lead proposals/RFPs
• Plan and execute tactics to improve the lead-to-sale conversion funnel
• Mentor and guide the Business Development and Partnerships team
• Scale and optimize partnerships beyond launch to grow value
• Manage CRM effectiveness using platforms like HubSpot
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams
• Conduct competitor analysis and manage KPIs for business development

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or Marketing
• Minimum 3 years of experience at a director level in sales and business development
• Proven track record in fast-paced, agile-oriented companies
• Proficiency in CRM management (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience negotiating and managing relationships with external stakeholders
• Experience mentoring and guiding team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Start-Ups, Retail Environments, Loyalty Programs, or high-growth eCommerce
• Experience with project management tools like Basecamp and ClickUp
