Business Development Director Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Industrial & Consumer Products (ICP) manufacturing sector.
• Partner with practice leaders to shape and execute go-to-market strategies and industry-focused growth initiatives.
• Build and expand relationships with manufacturers, distributors, supply chain leaders, and strategic partners.
• Communicate the application of Tax, Assurance, and Consulting services across the manufacturing ecosystem.
• Monitor emerging trends in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, supply chain resilience, and sustainability.
• Manage a sales pipeline using CRM (Salesforce) to track opportunities and document activities.
• Achieve closed business revenue goals for both new and existing client accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Products, Consumer Products, Supply Chain, or related professional services.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing market dynamics, operational transformation, and supply chain modernization.
• Knowledge of emerging industrial technologies such as automation, robotics, AI, and IoT.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel 50-80% as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree.
• Experience in management consulting, engineering, or operations advisory.
