Business Development Director

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of large, complex industrial gas projects for Linde Gases US across multiple product lines
• Partner with regional business teams to scope and develop competitive solutions for customers
• Serve as a subject matter expert, engaging directly with customers and project stakeholders
• Drive techno-commercial solution development in collaboration with engineering and business teams
• Work with engineering to define project scope and ensure competitive capital cost estimates
• Lead project economics, risk assessments, and support investment and plant selection decisions
• Support customer contract development to align scope, economics, and commitments
• Represent projects in internal capital reviews and maintain alignment across regional, engineering, and operations teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical and commercial experience
• Deep knowledge of air separation, HyCO, and related customer processes
• Ability to lead development and execution of complex investments with multi-functional teams
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and build strategic relationships
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
