About the role

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets for the WESCAM MX, CMX, and MatriX series within the UAE and Middle East regions.
  • Generate and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities across Air, Land, and Maritime domains.
  • Capture customer requirements to influence product design and successfully lead business pursuits.
  • Develop and execute winning market plans, capture strategies, and offset strategies.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted-advisor relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Conduct sales presentations, marketing activities, and participate in industry tradeshows and conferences.
  • Coordinate with out-of-territory Sales Directors and collaborate with Program Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-on business.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers and network within the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of prior relevant experience (or Graduate Degree with 7 years, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.
  • Demonstrated networking capabilities within MODs, MOIs, Law Enforcement organizations, and Military OEMs.
  • Intimate knowledge of the regional customer base and the Middle East defense ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of sensor technology and its applications.
  • Proven track record of successful sales in the National Security, Military, or Intelligence domains.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous military experience.
  • Experience with Offset Program processes and a proven offset record.
  • Business development experience outside of the Middle East region.
  • Experience selling with a large Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
