Business Development Director Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Asset Management sector, including hedge funds, venture capital, and family offices.
• Generate and manage a client-facing pipeline, leading client discovery and proposal development.
• Partner with practice leaders to execute go-to-market strategies and drive industry-focused growth.
• Represent the firm's full suite of tax, assurance, and consulting services across the Asset Management ecosystem.
• Develop and execute sales plans for assigned territories, reporting progress to senior management.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and account growth.
• Monitor emerging trends in financial technology, such as AI and blockchain, to identify new market opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and pipeline data within CRM (Salesforce).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 10+ years of experience in Asset Management-focused industries or professional services supporting these sectors.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience selling tax, assurance, or consulting services within Asset Management environments.
• Proven track record of achieving KPIs and meeting sales goals.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with internal partners and senior stakeholders.
