Business Development Consultant (BDC)

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development by executing outbound prospecting strategies across phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings
• Generate qualified meetings and new opportunities to build a high-quality pipeline aligned with revenue goals
• Research prospects, industries, and market trends to identify high-value commercial insurance opportunities
• Manage and optimize the sales pipeline within Salesforce, including segmentation and prioritization of prospects
• Coordinate and schedule meetings between prospects and internal expert teams
• Identify cross-sell opportunities within existing client relationships, including Property & Casualty, Pharmacy, and Executive Benefits
• Support sales operational execution by assisting with RFP responses, proposals, and consulting agreements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex or consultative environments
• Proven experience managing pipelines and CRM systems, specifically Salesforce
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience using sales intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives
