About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute growth strategies to increase cloud market share across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Identify new market segments, verticals, and geographies for cloud adoption.
  • Coordinate with cloud vendors such as AWS, Azure, and Google to manage promotions, rebates, and partner programs.
  • Align and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) campaigns and demand-generation activities.
  • Own end-to-end sales cycles for key cloud deals, including negotiating commercial terms, pricing, and SLAs.
  • Work with pre-sales and solution architects to framework proposals, RFP responses, and PoCs.
  • Promote ancillary cloud services including migrations, modernization, security, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design events, webinars, and content to drive engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 4–8+ years of experience in cloud sales, IT services, solution sales, or business development.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, revenue, and margin targets.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar) and their partner programs.
  • Strong familiarity with cloud services such as migration, modernization, and managed services.
  • Experience with large enterprise deal structuring and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Postgraduate degree.
  • Experience working within a channel, partner sales, or distribution environment.
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP Associate or Professional certifications.
  • Partner or cloud vendor program certifications.
