About the role
Responsibilities
- Support business growth by implementing business development activities within the fund services market.
- Provide technical support and represent the Business Development Manager during pitches and proposals.
- Assist with due diligence requirements and requests for new business opportunities.
- Conduct industry research to identify new targets and proactive opportunities.
- Manage the Salesforce lifecycle, including pipeline reporting, dashboard monitoring, and opportunity coordination.
- Coordinate the onboarding process and manage internal checklists in collaboration with client delivery teams.
- Build and maintain successful partnerships with clients, service providers, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a Fund Services environment.
- Proven experience dealing with client queries and providing business development support.
- Strong sales aptitude with the ability to grow into a full Business Development role.
- Related tertiary financial qualification (BCom or similar) is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce for pipeline management and reporting.
- Knowledge of the fund administration and platform industry landscape.
