Business Development Associate

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound cold calls to potential customers to introduce company products and services
• Schedule meetings or demos for Business Development representatives with interested leads
• Update and maintain customer records and sales activities in CRM systems
• Assist with lead generation and research using platforms like LinkedIn and company databases
• Develop creative strategies to engage multiple levels of target customer organizations
• Support cross-functional teams in qualifying accounts and opportunities
• Prepare sales materials, reports, and presentations
• Collaborate with BD and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort with making cold calls and engaging with customers professionally
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or telemarketing
• Familiarity with sales or marketing concepts
