Business Development Associate

Responsibilities

• Conduct cold calls to prospects to establish face-to-face appointments and determine qualification
• Build rapport with prospects to transition cold inquiries into warm leads
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including historical sales data and updated contact information
• Support the sales team by creating high-quality, customer-focused proposals and PowerPoint presentations
• Assist Business Development Managers in developing contracts for new clients
• Assist with the completion of pricing models under the direction of leadership
• Network within the community and participate in professional associations such as BOMA or ASIS
• Proactively seek ways to improve the customer and prospect experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience in inside sales or marketing, preferably within a service industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based computers
• Demonstrated experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, ACT, or similar) to drive sales
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for phone and in-person interactions
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment
