About the role

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop aggressive strategies for upstream Oil, Gas Laboratory, Field Services, and Production Chemicals opportunities
  • Maintain high level professionalism with client top management
  • Develop and implement mid- to long-term business strategies aligned with Group initiatives and revenue targets
  • Lead local sales growth by managing sales and operating budgets
  • Lead technical and commercial project proposal submissions
  • Drive new business growth and build critical mass in target regions
  • Manage relationships with in-country teams to ensure effective service levels
  • Collaborate with other SGS lines of business to develop the Malaysian market
  • Monitor market forecasts and business trends for downstream opportunities
  • Initiate development of new services and products to meet emerging market needs

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in related business activity
  • Minimum 5 years of management level experience with full P&L responsibility
  • 8-10 years of experience in the local or regional oil and gas service industry
  • Understanding of QSHE, sales, marketing, and technical execution
  • Experience in strategic marketing, budgeting, and people management
