Business Development Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist the front desk with onboarding new clients and managing existing client relationships.
• Support the operational activities of the metals desk and collaborate with central operations and technology functions.
• Organize marketing activities, including digital marketing, e-forums, and corporate events.
• Attend market events to source new business opportunities and assist with ad-hoc project management.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements (SFC) and adhere to the company's operational risk framework.
• Escalate risk events immediately and provide input to risk management processes as required.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of underlying markets, specifically metals.
• Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (verbal and written).
• Experience working within a regulated financial environment.
• Strong understanding of risk and compliance requirements.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take high levels of responsibility in a high-volume setting.
