Business Developer Pharmaceutical

Responsibilities

• Spearhead identification, evaluation, and prioritization of in-licensing, co-development, and partnership opportunities
• Build and nurture relationships with pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and government bodies
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments
• Lead negotiations for licensing, co-development, and alliance agreements
• Manage due diligence including financial analysis, technical evaluation, and risk mitigation
• Partner with R&D, regulatory affairs, legal, manufacturing, and commercial teams
• Develop and deploy business development strategies for domestic and export segments
• Guide and mentor junior team members
• Represent the organization at industry conferences and trade exhibitions
• Track market dynamics and competitor movements to adjust strategies

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years in pharmaceutical business development, alliance management, or portfolio management
• Demonstrated track record of deal-making and strategic execution
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree
