Business Developer

Responsibilities

• Drive growth for the Large Industries business line by orchestrating solution sales for multi-million investment projects.
• Establish and maintain trustful relationships with large corporations in the oil refining, chemical, petrochemical, or steel industries.
• Identify and analyze customer needs, decision-making criteria, and competitive landscapes to initiate growth opportunities.
• Elaborate winning strategies, commercial presentations, and bids, and negotiate framework agreements such as gas supply and utilities agreements.
• Mobilize cross-functional project teams including engineering, legal, and finance to define project cost, scope, and schedule.
• Manage the internal investment decision-making process and prepare key deliverables like investment committee notes.
• Develop and accurately control complex financial models for pricing and investment decisions, utilizing NPV, IRR, and other key metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or finance.
• 5 to 10 years of business development experience involving investment decisions.
• Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and interact with senior management.
• Ability to travel within the Middle East.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Knowledge of refining, chemical, or petrochemical processes.
• Understanding of energy transition considerations.
