Business Controller SR - Analytics & Automation

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for the Latin America region.
• Analyze variances, KPIs, and financial metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Partner with regional Controllers and Commercial leaders to identify business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with Volvo financial policies.
• Drive automation and digitalization initiatives within Finance and Business Control processes.
• Develop dashboards, data visualization tools, and automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize processes through digital tools and analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in controllership, FP&A, business partnering, or finance transformation.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualization concepts.
• Experience working with automation, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish language skills are a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform financial modeling and forecasting.
• Knowledge of SAP, Power Automate, or Power Query is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or post-graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Experience within the automotive or manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
