Business Controller

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager, Plant Manager, and leadership team
• Drive financial performance across P&L and Balance Sheet at both business unit and entity levels
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Monitor business performance to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives
• Support operational leaders in driving productivity, efficiency, and profitability outcomes
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with group standards and local regulatory requirements
• Oversee cash flow management, credit control, and investment analysis
• Lead and develop the finance function while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in finance, commercial finance, business controlling, or a similar leadership role
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, mining equipment, heavy industry, or industrial services
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, and Balance Sheet management
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders to drive business performance
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and provide commercially focused recommendations
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
• CPA, CA, or equivalent qualifications are highly regarded
