Business Controller

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between the business operations and the finance department
• Collaborate with project leaders to accurately determine monthly results and end-of-work forecasts
• Prepare financial reports and present data clearly to management
• Develop analytical structures for project and business-specific data
• Advise management and directors based on revenue, cost, and profitability analyses
• Optimize periodic and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis processes
• Translate strategic objectives into clear KPIs and provide actionable recommendations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business controlling procedures

Requirements

• Higher education degree in business economics or finance
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in controlling or audit
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus
• Hands-on mentality and ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment
• Experience with Navision or Power BI is a plus
• Affinity with the construction sector is a plus
