Business Controller

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan key business metrics such as revenue, return rates, and discounts down to contribution margin
• Derive monthly targets from the annual business plan and communicate them to teams like Merchandise Planning and Pricing
• Monitor all relevant business and performance metrics and provide concrete recommendations for action
• Prepare cross-team ad-hoc analyses, reports, and dashboards
• Continuously develop, optimize, and automate planning and reporting processes

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in planning, finance, controlling, or management consulting
• Experience in a dynamic e-commerce or fashion environment is ideal
• Excellent MS Excel skills and a good understanding of common performance metrics
• Strong analytical skills, high personal accountability, and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Very good German or English skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Google Looker Studio
