Business Continuity Planning Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Support local and central teams in crisis management, incident management, and associated logistics.
• Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity plans to ensure organizational readiness.
• Coordinate and facilitate Risk Assessments, Resilience Assessments, and Business Impact Analysis.
• Support the GDS Business Continuity Planning Program Office with project review and monitoring.
• Identify recoverability gaps and ensure risks are addressed in a timely manner.
• Conduct BCP exercises and walkthroughs across GDS centers to test business scenarios.
• Ensure all plans comply with internal policies, local regulations, and service line requirements.
• Deploy and maintain tools and technologies used by the BCP team.

Requirements

• Graduate degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years of professional work experience.
• At least 2 years of dedicated experience in Business Continuity Planning.
• Proven exposure to project management and tool design or implementation.
• Experience with technologies such as Archer, Everbridge, SharePoint, SAP, Power BI, or Power Apps.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a large, matrixed multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge of business recovery and testing methodologies.
• BCP Certification (e.g., ABCP, CBCV, or ISO 22301 Lead Auditor/Implementor).
