Business Continuity Consultant

Responsibilities

• Act as the staff lead and CDT PoC for all Business Continuity (BC) aspects within NATO HQ
• Set direction and requirements regarding Business Continuity for ICT and define maturity levels
• Integrate the BC Programme of Work for CDT topics including BIA, S&R, and CIS
• Redraft and update the NATO Enterprise Directive on Business Continuity for Technology
• Provide high-quality executive advice to CDT leadership on BC challenges
• Support the execution of Education, Training, Exercises, and Evaluation (ETEE) related to BC
• Capture and assess lessons learned from exercises and operations
• Ensure "Business Continuity by design" is reflected in ICT Capability Development and Defense Planning
• Prepare contributions for monthly BCAG meetings, annual BC Conferences, and reports to the Secretary General

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Continuity with an ICT focus
• Proven expertise in business continuity management within ICT domains
• Mandatory ISO 22301 Fundamentals of Business Continuity & Resilience certification
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to act as a point of contact
• Proven ability to direct meetings and workshops
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Business Continuity specifically within the NATO Enterprise
• Familiarity with NATO operational structures, protocols, and security requirements
