Business Consulting Manager - Healthcare Provider

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for healthcare leaders and administrators
• Collaborate with hospital and health system clients to identify business information needs and develop targeted analytical plans
• Leverage quantitative skills to address ongoing business analytics and reporting questions for provider clients
• Evaluate and assess data quality to ensure robust solutions for specific business challenges
• Communicate complex data results to clients, focusing on answering core business questions rather than technical processes
• Develop deep expertise within specific client analytics areas and gain familiarity with internal client processes

Requirements

• Master's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline (e.g., Operations Research, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering) or a PhD in a related field
• 7+ years of experience working with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Advanced modeling skills and proficiency with tools such as R, SAS, Tableau, or VBA
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative outlook
• Effective oral and written communication skills suitable for interacting with senior-level decision makers
• Ability to lead and manage teams with a client-service orientation
