Business Consultant (Project Management Office)

Responsibilities

• Support IT PMO work intake by coordinating assessment activities, clarifying business objectives, and facilitating solution design discussions
• Manage the end-to-end onboarding of new investment strategies, coordinating across investment management, finance, and IT to ensure operational readiness
• Perform business analysis (approx. 60% of role) to translate objectives into clear requirements and provide high-level solution assessments
• Provide project management and governance support (approx. 40% of role), including planning, status reporting, and risk/issue management
• Collaborate with multiple IT teams (architecture, security, vendor management) and business units to support resource demand and budget estimates
• Utilize project management tools to build delivery schedules and produce bi-weekly status reports for key stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or IT-enabled delivery roles
• 5+ years of hands-on project management experience
• Working knowledge of investment management and capital markets
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proven ability to facilitate discussions and translate complex technical and investment concepts for diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in pension funds or Fintech organizations
• Experience building and maintaining PowerBI reports
• Experience working with third-party vendors and managing internal or external operational audits
