Business Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead business transformation, upgrade, and modernization programs within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
• Conduct requirements gathering and elicitation through JAD sessions and workshops to produce high-quality BRDs and FSDs.
• Partner with Product Owners and clients to define optimal future-state operational processes and product configurations.
• Define project scope by providing innovative solutions that ensure maximum business value for client requirements.
• Elaborate and deliver detailed requirement documents including relevant dataflow and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate closely with product design and development teams to analyze and extract functional enhancements.
• Provide product consultancy and support the client through the entire project life cycle, including acceptance criteria gathering.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) lines, specifically covering Property, Auto, and General Liability.
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, documentation (BRD/FSD), and process mapping.
• Proficiency in data transformation, business data modeling, data mapping, and data profiling.
• Technical knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or Power-BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Understanding of AI and Gen AI use cases and their implementation within AI architectures.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to ensure overlap with US or UK business hours.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire or Duck Creek.
• Knowledge of additional lines of business including Casualty, Workers Compensation, or Inland Marine.
• Experience with other insurance platforms like Exigent or Majesco.
• Industry certifications such as AINS (Property and Liability, Personal, Commercial, or General Insurance).
• Additional experience in the Life insurance domain.
