Business Consultant (Alternative Investments)

Responsibilities

• Partner with investment and technology stakeholders to deliver end-to-end technology solutions for private asset classes
• Perform hands-on system configuration, testing, implementation, and production support for Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Real Estate
• Support business partners in integrating AI tools into business and technology workflows
• Investigate production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and communicate timely resolutions
• Optimize workflows and processes, including lifecycle events, data workflows, and automation of manual processes
• Lead small-to-medium sized initiatives from discovery through delivery
• Support the Product Owner and contribute to the technology roadmap for Private Markets applications

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience with Private Markets domain
• Strong understanding of Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Real Estate products and investment lifecycles
• Deep knowledge of valuation and accounting practices for private assets
• Experience with data analysis, modeling, and relational data models for Private Markets
• Proven experience in business process optimization and financial system integration
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with front-office investment professionals
• Experience working in an agile team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL knowledge
• Experience with industry-standard applications such as Yardi, Investran, Argus, or Taliance
