About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Stewardship Risk Reviews for new and existing products and applications, ensuring timely completion of action items
  • Act as an internal regulatory compliance expert and provide advice to internal stakeholders
  • Communicate product composition, properties, usage hazards, risk management measures, and regulatory compliance status
  • Partner with internal business stakeholders to set priorities and address requirements with urgency
  • Introduce fresh perspectives on business engagement and challenge the status quo

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, chemical engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with REACH, TSCA, and Asia Pacific chemical management regulations
  • Previous experience in product stewardship or regulatory compliance
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Ability to work onsite in Bangalore/Bengaluru (Morning shift)
  • Willingness to travel 5-10% (domestic and international)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field
  • Product knowledge from the chemicals, lubricants, or oil & gas industries
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and SAP
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into informed insights
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds
