Business Banking Relationship Manager Trainee

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage relationships with a portfolio of small business clients to drive new business and increase market share.
• Proactively develop and execute sales strategies to attract new business clients and expand existing relationships.
• Develop internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth.
• Identify prospective customers and cross-sell additional products and services to meet their financial goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expertise, responsive service, and support.
• Analyze data and financial information to provide insights, recommendations, and solutions.
• Maintain compliance with Bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in a professional banking or sales environment.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
• In-depth knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and loan documentation.
• Proven experience in customer sales and service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
