About the role
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationships with a portfolio of small business clients to build new business pipelines and increase market share
- Proactively develop and execute sales strategies to attract new business clients and expand existing relationships
- Develop internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth
- Identify prospective customers and cross-sell additional products and services to meet their financial goals
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expertise, responsive service, and support
- Analyze data and financial information to provide insights, recommendations, and solutions to stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with Bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements to prevent fraud and manage risk
- Execute business plans and relationship management strategies to achieve customer retention objectives
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness
- Deep knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and loan documentation
- Proven experience in customer sales and service
- In-depth verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influence skills
