Business Banking Relationship Manager Trainee

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage relationships with a portfolio of small business clients to build new business pipelines and increase market share
• Proactively develop and execute sales strategies to attract new business clients and expand existing relationships
• Develop internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth
• Identify prospective customers and cross-sell additional products and services to meet their financial goals
• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expertise, responsive service, and support
• Analyze data and financial information to provide insights, recommendations, and solutions to stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with Bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements to prevent fraud and manage risk
• Execute business plans and relationship management strategies to achieve customer retention objectives

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness
• Deep knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and loan documentation
• Proven experience in customer sales and service
• In-depth verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influence skills
