Business Banking Relationship Manager Trainee

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage a portfolio of small business clients to drive new business growth and increase market share.
• Proactively develop and execute sales strategies to attract new business clients and expand existing relationships.
• Identify prospective customers and cross-sell additional products and services to meet their financial goals.
• Develop and maintain internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing business growth.
• Provide expert advice, responsive service, and financial solutions to build client trust and rapport.
• Analyze financial data and information to provide insights, recommendations, and mitigate risk.
• Execute business plans and relationship management strategies to achieve customer retention objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all security, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements to maintain operational integrity.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in a professional financial or sales environment.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
• In-depth knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and loan documentation.
• Proven experience in customer sales and service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
