Business Banking Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage relationships with a portfolio of small business clients to drive new business and increase market share
• Proactively develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing relationships
• Identify prospective customers and cross-sell products and services to meet their financial goals
• Develop and maintain a business plan, including relationship management strategies, to achieve customer retention
• Build internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing business growth
• Provide expert advice on business banking products and deliver exceptional customer service
• Analyze data and financial information to provide insights, recommendations, and solve complex problems
• Ensure compliance with all security, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements to maintain operational integrity

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in business banking or a related field
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness
• Deep knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and loan documentation
• Proven experience in customer sales and service
• In-depth verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and influence stakeholders
