About the role

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of small business clients to drive new business growth and increase market share.
  • Proactively develop and execute sales strategies to attract new business clients and expand existing relationships.
  • Develop internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth.
  • Identify prospective customers and cross-sell additional products and services to meet their financial needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expertise, responsive service, and financial solutions.
  • Analyze data and financial information to provide insights, recommendations, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain compliance with all security, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements to prevent fraud and maintain operational integrity.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in business banking or a related financial field.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
  • Deep knowledge of business banking products, lending processes, and loan documentation.
  • Proven experience in customer sales and service.
  • In-depth verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
