Business Banking Officer

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop new business loans, deposits, and cash management products
• Execute and document a calling/prospect plan to meet individual goals
• Manage and develop existing loan and deposit portfolios as a trusted advisor
• Maintain sound credit skills in accordance with Member Business Loan Policy
• Partner with Retail Branches and STCU Connect to respond to referrals
• Promote SBA lending programs to members and prospects
• Participate in community events and serve on boards to expand network

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related area (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of five years of experience working with business clients
• Minimum of three years of successful sales experience in a production environment
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud banking software
• Experience with construction loan management software such as nCino, Built, or Malauzai
