Business Banker (LO)

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of business banking clients, owning the full client journey from onboarding to relationship deepening.
• Provide tailored financial recommendations, including business accounts, credit, and treasury services, to meet client goals.
• Actively prospect and network with internal and external partners to drive high-quality referrals and expand the small business customer base.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Lending Officers to support complex structures while ensuring alignment with underwriting policies.
• Serve as a product expert, leveraging digital tools and financial solutions to deliver a client-centric experience.
• Maintain compliance with all bank policies, risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in financial services, sales, or customer service.
• Ability to meet Loan Originator (LO) requirements under Regulation Z, including meeting financial responsibility and character standards.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze client operations and priorities.
• High level of customer service focus and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of in-branch business banking experience.
• Experience managing a dedicated book of business customers across an assigned territory.
• Extensive knowledge of bank lending programs, credit policies, and specialty products.
• Proficiency in sourcing, acquiring, and maintaining client relationships.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
