Business Banker (LO)

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of business clients, owning the full client journey from onboarding to deepening relationships.
• Provide tailored financial recommendations including business accounts, credit, and treasury services.
• Actively prospect and network with internal and external partners to drive high-quality referrals.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Lending Officers to support complex structures and ensure alignment with risk guidelines.
• Educate clients on digital services and mobile banking options to enhance their banking experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in financial services, sales, or customer service.
• Must meet Loan Originator (LO) requirements under Regulation Z.
• Ability to undergo LO registration through the NMLS immediately following employment.
• Strong business acumen and a customer service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of in-branch business banking experience.
• Experience managing a dedicated book of small business customers.
• Extensive knowledge of bank lending programs, credit policies, and specialty products.
• Proven ability to proactively source and maintain client relationships.
