Business Banker

Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage a portfolio of business banking relationships, serving as the primary contact for borrowing needs up to $5MM
• Contribute to bank growth through business and commercial loans, deposits, and fee income
• Develop and maintain an active prospect list, customer outreach plan, and quality referral sources
• Engage with business owners in the community to provide a full range of deposit and related business services
• Collaborate with various business service partners to support the full client relationship

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development
• OR a High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development
• Proven experience in business development

Preferred Qualifications

• Established Centers of Influence (COIs) and referral sources
• Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting skills
• Knowledge of business lending, deposit, and cash management solutions
• Ability to provide financial guidance and expertise
• Experience in sales planning and forecasting
