Business Auditor, Officer

Responsibilities

• Execute one or more audit projects simultaneously, providing assurance on core banking and asset servicing operations
• Prepare planning, fieldwork, and reporting documents while ensuring work papers meet departmental standards
• Apply analytical skills to review information, perform assessments of audit results, and evaluate the adequacy of controls
• Work closely with Lead Audit Managers to develop audit planning, scoping, and fieldwork execution strategies
• Communicate audit status, findings, and recommendations to business unit and Audit Services management
• Draft issues and validate business action plans to facilitate process improvements
• Coordinate with regional and specialist audit teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of key areas

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of internal audit experience in the financial services industry preferred
• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Comprehensive knowledge of internal audit processes, including sampling, testing, and process/control walkthroughs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, time management, and independent working skills
• Ability to demonstrate professional skepticism and effective communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, or ACCA
• MBA degree
• Experience with audit work paper applications
• Technical expertise in regulatory compliance or accounting
