Business Applications Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between internal IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure applications meet evolving organizational needs.
• Configure and administer products across the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira and Confluence.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot system integrations using APIs, webhooks, and SFTP.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage application workflows, automation rules, and user/role permissions.
• Participate in application evaluations, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Business Applications, Application Support, or Business Analysis.
• Hands-on experience administering the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence).
• Practical experience with integration methodologies such as REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware.
• Strong understanding of workflow design, automation, and business process mapping.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow or CMDB concepts.
• Exposure to HRMS, CRM, or ERP enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of scripting or query languages such as SQL, JavaScript, or Python.
• Knowledge of SaaS application governance and role-based access control.
• Interest in emerging technologies and AI tools for workflow automation.
