Business Application Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the lifecycle of core business applications including ERP, POS, WMS, HRIS, and key SaaS tools
• Act as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives
• Lead application roadmap planning aligned with company growth and operational needs
• Manage system integrations and data flows across platforms using APIs, middleware, and iPaaS solutions
• Oversee application support, incident management, and vendor relationships
• Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations for new store openings or channel expansions
• Establish governance processes for change management, testing, and release cycles
• Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance across all applications
• Build reporting and analytics capabilities in partnership with business teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing business applications in a retail, eCommerce, or consumer goods environment
• Strong understanding of systems such as ERP, POS, OMS, WMS, and related integrations
• Hands-on experience with platforms like NetSuite, Shopify, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions
• Experience managing vendors, system implementations, and cross-functional projects
• Familiarity with integration concepts including APIs, EDI, and middleware
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in apparel, footwear, or multi-location retail environments
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and supply chain workflows
• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Domo, Tableau, or Looker
• Background in data governance or master data management (MDM)
• Certifications in project management (PMP) or IT service management (ITIL)
