Business Analytics Manager (Finance)

Responsibilities

• Partner with FP&A on topline forecasting to ensure assumptions are grounded in operational reality and core business drivers.
• Improve the structure, consistency, and scalability of planning processes across budget, rolling forecast, and long-range planning.
• Establish clear frameworks for pacing and variance analysis to increase organizational accountability and forecast precision.
• Translate complex business dynamics into structured, decision-oriented insights for senior leadership.
• Partner with Growth and Marketing to ensure initiative-level forecasts align with company targets.
• Build data-driven business cases for incremental investments and strategic initiatives.
• Design and institutionalize scalable planning frameworks to reduce friction across teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Financial Analytics, Strategic Finance, Growth Analytics, or a similar role.
• Experience within a subscription, DTC, or consumer technology business model.
• Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build driver-based forecasts.
• Advanced SQL proficiency is required.
• Demonstrated ability to connect operational drivers to financial outcomes.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to defend assumptions and recommendations.
• Ability to work onsite in the Boston, MA office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with complex data models in Snowflake or dbt.
• Proven track record of building business cases using structured analytical frameworks.
• A player-coach mentality with the ability to balance high-level strategy with deep-dive data analysis.
