Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer

Responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders to capture, define, and document customer requirements for applications and IT systems
• Review and map business processes for new applications and system enhancements
• Analyze and model existing business procedures to identify areas for improvement
• Create Assessment Reports, detailed business requirement documentation, and workflows
• Create process diagrams, application wireframes, and projected plan layouts
• Perform feasibility analysis and collaborate with project management to prioritize deliverables
• Partner with development teams to provide status reporting on software solutions
• Provide recommendations for technology strategies and project scope improvements
• Provide user training and project transition support
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to application developers and project managers

Requirements

• 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst capturing and documenting business processes
• 6 years of experience in Microsoft SharePoint and IIS environments using the .NET framework
• 8 years of experience creating process diagrams and flow charts
• 5 years of experience scoping projects and estimating effort for SharePoint and IIS deployments
• 5 years of experience with SDLC and Agile processes
• 3 years of experience mentoring junior personnel
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application wireframing tools and process diagramming software
• Experience supporting Agile and SCRUM development teams
