Business Analyst/Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for advisor platform and account opening modernization initiatives
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
• Redesign end-to-end account opening and onboarding workflows to reduce friction and manual touchpoints
• Partner with advisors and operations teams to identify pain points and recommend automation-driven improvements
• Support Agile delivery through backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies, and demos
• Support UAT, define test scenarios, and coordinate defect triage for platform releases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IS, CS, or a related field
• 5–10 years of Business Analyst experience
• 3+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Broker-Dealer environments
• Direct exposure to advisor platforms or account opening systems
• Strong understanding of account opening, onboarding, and advisor workflow tools
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and data mapping
