Business Analyst, VP

Responsibilities

• Research and produce detailed business and technical requirement documents
• Work directly with customers and product management to gather requirements and develop feature specifications
• Partner with development teams to implement, refine, and validate new product features
• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle, including daily standups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
• Plan and schedule validation tasks, including hands-on manual testing and developing verification processes
• Provide client beta testing support and train personnel on new product release capabilities
• Assist with project schedules, deliverables, and the resolution of escalated client issues

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience, preferably with Agile methodologies
• Experience with middle office investment management functions
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Proven ability to communicate and negotiate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong technical background and interest in financial markets, trading, and instrument lifecycles
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Business with an MIS background

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or MBA degree
• Knowledge of Charles River Development (CRD) functional financial areas
