Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and refinement of user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
• Translate business needs into actionable product and technical requirements
• Maintain a clear, prioritized backlog that reflects team goals
• Partner with cross-functional collaborators to build shared understanding of requirements and priorities
• Document decisions, open questions, and follow-ups to keep stakeholders informed
• Prepare sprint materials including backlog reviews, refinement notes, and sprint planning assets
• Clarify requirements during development to ensure work aligns to acceptance criteria
• Participate in UAT testing and validation activities before release
• Surface risks or blockers early and help drive resolution

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (3+ years)
• Strong experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and well-structured user stories
• Experience refining user stories and working closely with engineering teams during grooming sessions
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile frameworks (sprints, backlog refinement, retrospectives)
• Experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management
• Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, Miro, Figma, or product analytics platforms
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Experience working on fixed-price or fixed-scope projects
• Experience working with Contentstack
