About the role
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from finance stakeholders
- Work closely with business teams to understand financial processes, KPIs, and reporting needs
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams working on Databricks for data processing and analytics solutions
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and quality
- Prepare BRD/FRD documents, user stories, and process flows
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and present insights effectively
- Support UAT and ensure smooth implementation of solutions
Requirements
- 3.5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong background in Finance domain (Banking, Financial Services, Accounting, FP&A, etc.)
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Databricks
- Good understanding of financial metrics, reporting, and business workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in stakeholder management and requirement gathering
