Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business processes and practices in assigned technical and functional areas
• Act as a liaison between payroll user departments, DBA groups, and software development teams
• Support project initiatives utilizing project management methodologies
• Extract, query, transform, and present data from systems and databases using SQL and spreadsheets
• Work with clients to review test plans to ensure business processes and user requirements are satisfied
• Identify gaps in business processes or software functionality and recommend corrective alternatives
• Comply with ISO-9001 requirements and support Quality Management System objectives

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• BA/BS degree in a technical, analytical, or financial domain
• US Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong SQL skills and ability to present technical solutions clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft Payroll
• Experience with HRMS or Payroll software
• Experience using Microsoft VBA, SQL Developer, or similar RDBMS tools
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Access knowledge
• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other project management certifications
